Present Joys

I just finished my first cardigan! Though it feels like I’ve been working on it forever, Ravelry says I started it in March. I used the cheapest worsted-weight yarn Jo-Ann’s had, which ended up being Caron Simply Soft (the kind with no dye lot). I ended up using five skeins.

I did the fronts and back satisfactorily on the first try, but I had to remake the sleeves four times, because I just couldn’t find a good fit for my skinny arms (which are so much wedge-shaped as they are stick-shaped). Now that I’ve made up my own sleeve pattern I’ll finish much more quickly next time!
