Tag libraries
libraries really are truly amazing places where ridiculous things happen routinely
- a lady brought a samurai sword in and we told her she could not do that and she sheathed it in a coleman camping chair-type bag and we kept it behind the desk until she left
- a man came in with a huge box of pizza (not a pizza box but a couple dozen individually ziplocked bags of slices of pizza in a big cardboard box) and asked us to keep it safe for him until he was ready to leave
- this (done by a man who licked the books and only mumbled)
- one time i stayed after my shift to watch a book discussion of abraham lincoln, vampire hunter and one of the elderly ladies thought it was real and that the president murdered vampires and thought it was just awful
