Tag parking lot mounting
What I did this week (17 nov 2011)
- Tried to plan a fun friendship lunch outing to Dirty Frank’s which, despite serious logistical problems, was still great fun.
- Got to go home early on monday afternoon because my Worst Class of the Week was cancelled.
- Totally bombed a science quiz covering chemical hazards of art materials.
- Had extremely positive team interactions. (Perhaps I can do this after all.)
- Had an advising appointment in the hopes of trying to get out of my Worst Class of the Week. A futile attempt.
- Went to the art museum with my Illustration class, spent about 50% of the time looking at paintings and the other 50% lounging on giant beanbags in the museum lobby.
- Served as a portrait model for Amanda.
- Mounted finals for Burleigh on cheapo chipboard instead of black mount board, which was a risky move. Received equal parts criticism and praise from my peers.
- Overlooked printing issues and therefore ended up mounting half of my stuff for Burleigh thursday morning in the school parking lot. Cut myself, bled on work, had to mount again. An altogether formative experience.
- Did pretty well on my science test covering chemical hazards of art materials.
- During a knit-n-crit in Burleigh’s class, made Japanese short rows to shape the shoulders on Ian’s sweater without directions OR stitch markers. Proud of myself.
- Had a generally amazing, delightful week.
