Stayed up till 2am monday morning to register online for spring classes, which ended up being an almost complete waste of time. I got into most of my classes with no problems.
Arrived late to my monday morning class because I had to finish scheduling in person. (See above.)
Saw Simonetta Moro talk about her work. Though not the most captivating public speaker, her work and creative process were intriguing and I left feeling very enriched.
Got out of my photo class early and ended up talking to Mr. Burleigh, which was wonderful.
Watched the documentary Ghost in your Genes in my science class, which was very interesting. And I can get extra credit for writing a few pages on it—huzzah?
Didn’t go to school at all on wednesday, because my illustration teacher was in Italy for a show opening. Had a nice day of working at home.
Got out of my photo class (should I say non-class?) two hours early and took a drive to the Scioto Audubon Metro Park with Jason and Amanda. Took lots and lots of pictures.
Had surprisingly positive personal interactions with my teammates. Now! to only keep this up for the next six weeks, while creating lots and lots of great work. Is it to much to ask for?
Bought an 85¢ muffin from the Crane Café, which was delicious but definitely not worth 85¢. At least now I know how it feels when Colleen buys 85¢ muffins.
Worked really hard on a 5-page research paper for science and a 3-page essay for anthropology, and mourned the fact that, even in art school, I cannot escape dull paper-writing.
