Sunday night, happened to check the syllabus for my “internship class” and realized a heavily-weighted research paper was due the next day! So I stayed up late to write it. Late.
Dove downtown monday morning for package design at 8am, talked to my friends and realized that I had a ton of homework to do, and went back home at 9:20am. (Nobody minded.)
Did lots of homework for Burleigh. Lots and lots. Every waking minute.
Ran into Marcia Tabler on Cleveland Ave. Her bright red raincoat was the happiest chroma I saw all week.
In draping, had my first time back in the studio in three weeks. Started draping a dress of my own design out of cheapo knit fabric.
Stayed up until at least 1am every night this week working on my big cooking project for Burleigh. I have probably slept less this week than any other week of school, but it’s okay because I really am having fun with this stuff.
Matched Amanda, half-deliberately and half-accidentally; took lots of silly photos during class.
Went to CSCA to hear Stephen Coles give a talk about typography. It was my first time, and a very nice time indeed—schmoozy social-hour notwithstanding!
