I watched this movie, The Long Good Friday, on New Year’s Eve. Apparently lots of people consider it one of the best gangster films ever made…? It was indeed a pretty good film. Bob Hoskins’ Cockney accent—and the whole story itself—was pretty hard to follow at times, but it’s the kind of thing that grows on you. I’m watching a “making of” documentary on YouTube right now and I now appreciate it even more.
